Brining pork makes it more moist, even if you overcook it by mistake!
This recipe makes enough to cover 8 pork chops.
approx time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
6 cups of water 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 14 cup brown sugar 1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes 1 tbsp dried thyme leaves 2 tbsp sea salt 1 tbsp ground pepper
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a large bowl, mix and then add pork. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours and up to 12 hours.
Remove meat from brine and pat dry with paper towel. BBQ on a hot grill, flipping once until internal temp reaches 145°.
This can be topped with our Tangy Rhubarb Compote. Delish...
Enjoy! xx
